Most writing advice is about clarity. The harder skill is restraint — knowing which 80% of the idea to leave on the floor so the remaining 20% lands.

§ 07Questions

The things people
ask first.

What is bylin?
bylin turns your source material — notes, articles, threads, links, and documents — into on-brand posts written in your own voice. Each draft is scored for quality and waits for your approval before it posts to X.
How does bylin learn my voice?
During onboarding, bylin analyzes samples of your existing writing — your X timeline and any blog or long-form samples you provide — to build a private voice playbook. Every draft is generated against that playbook so it sounds like you, not like generic AI.
Does bylin post automatically without my approval?
No. Nothing posts without an explicit approval step. You connect your own X account via secure OAuth, review each scored draft, and only an approval — with a confirmation and a cancellable undo window — posts the tweet to your account.
How can I generate posts with bylin?
There are two entry points: the web dashboard, and an MCP/REST API for Pro and Scale plans so you can generate posts from your own tools and AI agents.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Every account gets 3 free generations, no card required, so you can try the voice and quality before choosing a plan. Free-trial drafts are text-only; link posts require a paid plan.
How does pricing work?
bylin has three plans — Starter, Pro, and Scale — billed monthly or yearly through Polar. Higher tiers raise your monthly post limit and unlock the MCP/REST API and link-post allowances.
Who is bylin for?
Founders, researchers, operators, and anyone who needs to publish consistently on X but cares about sounding like themselves rather than posting generic content.
